The process

Creating something special for this moment in time.

I’m building this space to reflect the experience I want for every client — one rooted in comfort, connection, and authenticity. My goal is to ensure that you feel completely at ease from the moment we start working together. Below are a few common questions to help ease your mind and give you a better sense of what it’s like to collaborate with me. This is a meaningful moment, and I want to make sure it feels like the right fit for you.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

First of all—take a deep breath! You don’t need to be a model to have an amazing photoshoot experience. My goal is to guide you every step of the way so you can feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself in front of the camera.

Before your session, I’ll help you prepare with outfit suggestions, location ideas, and any small details that can make your shoot run smoothly. During the session, I’ll direct you with gentle posing prompts and natural movements that feel authentic—not forced.

All you need to do is show up ready to have fun and trust the process. My job is to capture you—your personality, your story, and your genuine moments.

How do I book a session?

Booking is simple! Once you reach out through my contact form, I’ll follow up with available dates, package options, and a short questionnaire to get to know your vision. A signed contract and a deposit secure your spot on my calendar.

Can you recommend any good locations?

Absolutely! Choosing the right location is one of my favorite parts of the planning process. Once I get a sense of your vision—whether you’re drawn to something natural and airy, urban and modern, or cozy and intimate—I’ll share a curated list of locations that fit your style.

I have a variety of go-to spots that photograph beautifully at different times of day, including parks, gardens, waterfronts, downtown areas, and hidden gems that offer great lighting and atmosphere. If you already have a place that’s meaningful to you, I’m always happy to explore that too!

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

I completely understand—weather can be unpredictable! If the forecast calls for heavy rain, storms, or conditions that would make it difficult to shoot comfortably, we’ll reschedule for another day at no extra cost. Your comfort and the quality of your photos always come first.

That said, a little cloud cover or light mist can actually create beautiful, soft lighting and moodier tones—so not all “bad weather” is a deal-breaker! I’ll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session and stay in touch so we can make the best call together. Flexibility and communication are key, and I’ll make sure your experience stays stress-free and enjoyable no matter what the skies decide to do.

do you require a deposit?

Yes, a non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date. The remaining balance is due the day of your session unless otherwise arranged.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Yes! I love exploring new places. Travel within 25 miles of the DMV is included; anything beyond that may include a small travel fee. I’m happy to discuss destination shoots or special requests.

can i bring someone with me that isn't being photograped?

Of course! Having a friend, partner, or family member along can help you feel more relaxed and bring out authentic smiles. I just ask that whoever comes stays supportive and distraction-free so we can focus on you.

When and How will i Recieve my photos?

Photo delivery times depend on the package you select. Your final images will be delivered through a beautifully curated online gallery via Pixieset, where you’ll be able to view, download, share, and purchase professional-quality prints, canvases, albums, and more if you’d like.

Each gallery is thoughtfully designed to reflect the aesthetic and mood of your session, giving you a seamless and enjoyable viewing experience from start to finish.
